Juxtaposition?

I'm having trouble with the concept here.
In other news, the trails are definitely getting icy. Did the University Forest this morning, hoping they'd run their trail groomer over the snow. They haven't. I skipped one long downhill 'cause I'm not the man I used to be (the foolish one). Cross-country ski trails don't have the width for downhill-style turns, even if I had metal edges on my skis. "His jumping form was fine, until he ran into that pine..." Need more snow.
Flock of chickadees, with at least one nuthatch and one brown creeper mixed in, the 'dees seemed to think I had a pocket full of sunflower seed or something. Cute things, particularly when one lands in a branch about a foot from your nose and cocks its head and scolds you for holding out on him. Something there is that does not love a chickadee, though -- scattering of gray feathers on the snow, with a spot of blood. I wouldn't think there'd be enough meat on one of those oversized bugs to make it worth the trouble to catch one.
