Still moving -- the molecular story

Overnight low -10 F at the airport.  Other areas as low as -20, which pales, I know, in comparison with the wilds of northern Minnesota or Idaho.

And the wind hasn't picked up yet.  Woodstove refueled, newspaper fetched, we can return to hibernation.

Various points back in the hills reported lower than -30 F. This is one advantage of living near tidewater . . .
