Reminder to rabid fans

The Sox have a history of raising hopes, merely to dash them all the harder on the rocks.  Yep, they've had history-making playoff runs before.  That's just to get you hoping all the more against impossible dark . . .

You and 56% of Red Sox Nation, according to the polls. I only turned it on just in time to see Crisp's game-tying single in the 8th.

As many of my friends are pleased to point out, the Sox have now won 8 straight ALCS elimination games: 4 from 2004, 3 from 2007, and last night.

But I still don't think they can take 2 from the Rays in Florida.
