Tuesday roadkill report

Couple of flat frogs, probably washed out of their ponds by recent downpours. (One area on the coast nearby got more than 4" of rain in about 45 minutes. I consider that excessive.)
Got done with the morning meeting, hadn't rained yet, so I headed out on the bike after lunch. Enough wind that the same route took me five minutes longer today than it did last Thursday. Got passed by a spandex rider up near the golf course, but I don't try to keep up with people who have bodies that can wear such things without shame...
Milkweed pods showing, sumacs starting to set fruit, general air of late summer. Including ragweed pollen.
