Interlude

Middle-of-the-week, middle-of-the-weather.  We're supposed to have (relatively) clear skies and (relatively) low humidity today.  I suppose I ought to celebrate with something outside-ish, but my bicycle schedule is Tuesday-Thursday-Sunday, and we can't go messing with Routine.  And the lawn doesn't quite need mowing yet.  Even with the rain encouraging the damned stuff.

I wish the rain would encourage me.  Have this sketch floor  plan for the Starling Graveyard on my drafting table, haven't added a line to it in several days.  Have a start of two different stories on my Mac desktop, haven't added a word to either in months.

Ambition, as Mr. Anthony reminds us, should be made of sterner stuff.

Well, wherever yours has gone this week, mine has too.

I think all the available energy in the virtual atmosphere has gone to fueling the current extreme contentiousness of the internet.

At this point I'm so out of the habit I'm going when I get the urge to and the weather is good. Other than Sunday mornings, which I am set on going biking on.
