It is good to have someone to mock in the morning

Some PETA folks have proposed opening a "Lobster Empathy Center" in a former Maine jail*...

Silly season?

Not gonna happen -- county wants to sell the building, while PETA wants a lease.

*Full disclosure -- I worked on the report that told the Somerset County Commissioners to shut that 1800s cesspool** down and build new.

**Not completely metaphor.  Open sewer in the second sub-cellar.

ahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahaha*cough snort breathe*ahahahahahahah omg ahahahahahahh what's next.. a rescue center for the delicate oysters that are so cruelly eaten alive in all the NYC ritzy oyster bars? ahahahahahaha

As a devoted lobster gourmand (i.e. I eat them anytime I can get them.. in fact I just saw a lobster pound with $8.99 2lbers Mmmmm) I can tell you flat out that lobsters are NOT tender sensitive creatures.. they are BUGS! As for "wearing rubber bands constricting my hands for the duration of my visit" not a chance bub unless you give me an exoskeleton first! In my not so humble opinion, the lobster bands equate to hobbles on a horse.. they restrict movement and do not DAMAGE the creature.. idiots ;p

Anyone who says lobsters are your friend has never met one alive and unbanded...
