Flakey day

As in a few snowflakes. Not enough to _do_ anything worthwhile, you understand. Just the occasional flake wandering by the window. If they'd get serious, I might be able to go skiing.

Meanwhile, The Shrew is about to slap Beowulf, at which point he picks her up and heaves her head-first into a snowdrift. No, we haven't reached the lovey-dovey kiss-kiss part yet.

I'm not worrying about spoiling the story for you with such revelations, by the way. _That_ part of the plot is pretty obvious. And besides, _if_ I sell this thing, it won't reach bookstores for a few years yet.
