Some minor recompense

Lest I give the wrong impression, we do find compensations for the pain of living in the howling wilderness.  On the way back from the nature center this morning, drove past three wild turkeys right by the edge of the pavement.  Prehistoric birds, all bronze and imperial and reptilian.

last time I saw a wild turkey, it was on a shelf in a bar ;-)

This was a tom and two hens. Only vaguely related to the stuff in a bottle.
