Got a reminder this morning that Older Sister retires next month, after centuries spent toiling in the inter-dimensional reaches of L-Space.  Okay, part of the definition of "Older Sister" is, well, older.  But still.  Twinge.

We get too soon old and too late smart.

That's actually quite cool. In my case, I get birthday cards from my sister, reminding me incessantly that I'm nearly five years older than she is, and all I can say in response is "Yeah? When your looks are gone, you're dead."

I wouldn't mind retiring - right now - but alas, as old as I am, it's not allowed!

being an "older sister" (in fact "oldest sister", since there are three sisters and two brothers in my family) I get to make my brothers nervous this year, when I reach my half century :-)
