Well, the mass-market edition of DRAGON'S EYE has joined the ranks of the remaindered.  You people just don't buy enough books.

As usual, I will have copies available for the discerning reader.

would help if bookstores actually carried the book in the first place. I had to order from Amazon because Waterstones and Borders said "who? don't you want another Terry Pratchett?"

My local B&N (Marina del Rey, CA) has always carried your books. I'm sorry about the remaindering.

Mr. Hetley,

I absolutely LOVED The Summer Country and The Winter Oak...are there any more books in that series?

Thanks,

Well, that's a good-news/bad-news joke. Yes, there are two more books in the series: PENDRAGON AUTUMN and (Something-or-other) SPRING. The bad news is that they won't be written or published...

I actually started in writing AUTUMN, but the sales figures dropped and Ace decided they weren't interested. Thus, we are left with Fiona trapped in the wildwood, a bunch of dragon hatchlings growing up in the wrong world, and Dierdre scheming to take over the Pendragons. This is the publishing life.

It could be worse -- I could have finished the books. The third Stonefort book, GHOST POINT, is wandering the streets in manuscript form.

Bother. I was hoping the end of the Ace gig was post the full four seasons... :: pout ::

I bought one--wasn't that enough to convince the powers-that-be?
I gave up and bought Dragon's Teeth in trade, even though my hands won't be happy about that.

That makes me really sad...you're the one that got me into sci-fi/fantasy in the first place! hehe...they were really good while they lasted...I really liked the dynamic of the relationship between Brian and Maureen...I really wanted to see their relationship develop :(
