Wet and windy

jhetleyGrayness covers Maine. They say we will have thunderstorms later, as colder air shoves this stuff away. Good thing we aren't heading over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house for dinner.
(Of course, Grandmother's house got bulldozed flat over forty years ago, so Thanksgiving dinner could be a little bleak.)
Actually, Thanksgiving is more or less a non-event in our house. No family visitation, no turkey. Wife will roast a chicken as a token sacrifice to the poultry gods, a _small_ chicken, suitable for two people. And probably the family across the street will hold their traditional touch-football game in the street, if weather allows.
