Flakes

Snow commenced during the evening news. I'm sure you were waiting with bated (no, _not_ baited, you'd have to beat the cats off with a stick) breath.

Now they're talking about a "major" storm Sunday night into Monday. That one may be rain.

Time to tell the weather gods to FOAD.

I'm not even going to start. We're finally getting to normal temperatures for Texas, and I know that the reason why it's 76 outside right now is because we're going to get the shit kicked out of us by a thunderstorm tonight. (One of the interesting aspects of living in flatlands is that I can predict a major front coming through at least twelve hours in the future, just by watching a sudden and rapid increase in temperature during the day. Thanks to the heat generated by the compression wave created by big front bashing into our standard straight-off-the-Gulf southern winds, I get really antsy when the temperatures jump up ten to twenty degrees in two hours or less, because I know from long experience that we're probably looking at tornado weather within twelve.) I agree with you about the weather gods, because at the very least I want to have them fired. From a cannon.

Got over an inch in Colorado already, and supposedly we're starting on another blizzard.
