About those pigeons

Made my weekly visit to the Pigeon Loft this afternoon -- sheetrock crew is making the rooms seem ever smaller. Looked out the back windows and saw gray feathers scattered across the snow on a lower roof, a detached pigeon wing dangling from an iron fire escape, other bits and pieces.

I believe one of the downtown peregrines is pleased that we drove the pigeons out into unfriendly airspace...

(Couldn't be our sharp-shinned. They're actually smaller than a pigeon.)
