Brisk

The weather tried to freeze him,
It tried its dalgarn best;
At a hundred degrees below zero,
He buttoned up his vest.

Air temperature about -10 F for the newspaper walk this morning, windchill about -30 (F or C, no diff...)

Unlike our Logger Hero of the verse, I remembered my Mackinaw.

Me... I put out some food for the birds without bothering with my vest, and then saw we were still at -2 F. There was only a small breeze, and I worked fast.

Uh, no. I am not a logger. That would be false advertising. I do, on the other hand, possess a chainsaw, a pulp hook, a Peavey, and a Levi's jacket with a UM Forestry Club patch...
