Wrong teams keep winning

Air temperature 57 F, wind near calm, light rain. Supposed to do this pretty much all day, but with minor accumulation. We need it. Our leopard slugs need it -- one oozing across the concrete pavers of our front walk right now. Wonder how they cope with extended drought.

Hi! Is there a benefit to slugs? I have quite a few on my patio at night/early morning and saw an absolutely massive one yesterday. I swear it was the size of a small banana!

Slugs are part of the recycling system -- they eat a lot of things besides our lettuce. And, in turn, are food to a lot of critters.

Thanks! I probably could have googled, but it was the first time I remember someone being excited for slugs.

I leave food out for community cats and the slugs do a great job of keeping the bowls from getting gross before I wash them. I have to soak my own cat's before I wash them so I appreciate that. 😁
