jhetleyWife and I suited up and walked for the newspaper. (Mutual aid society -- "I've fallen and I can't get up!")
Traction not that bad, scrunchy underfoot rather than slippy. Sleet at that time, so we didn't get soaked.
Not nice out there. Cocoon time. Football game TV day.
But pea soup simmers in the kitchen.

Date: 2007-01-02 04:30 am (UTC)In other news - I've done my bit to make sure you keep getting royalty checks. Went to the local B&N and found 3 of your books - Winter Oak, Dragon's Eye and Dragon's Teeth. I got the last copy of Oak but they had two or three more of Eye and about half a dozen of the trade paperback for Teeth. All displayed prominently on a top shelf. I already had Summer Country so this let me complete my set.
I'm about 50 pages into Eye now and enjoying it thoroughly.
