We just got a campaign postcard (note to world -- we already voted) shouting "Help Us Take Back Our City!" and showing three "Preferred Candidates for ****** City Council" . . . .

No mention of what they will take us back from, preferred by who, and no "Authorized and paid for by" information.

My guess is that we are supposed to "take back" our city from the plague of homeless people flocking here from the hinterlands.
