More July sun

Temperatures supposed to reach 90F today, about 32C. I _know_ this does not qualify as "hot" in the lexicon of several of you dear readers. Also, dewpoints in the 70s F. We find it excessive.

They offer us the prospect of a front coming through this evening, perhaps with storms or perhaps not, and highs closer to 80F tomorrow. Thus holding out the prospect of a bike ride in the morning, after the fashion of Lucy offering to hold the football for Charlie Brown to kick...

Then back into the steam bath for next week, wind and weather coming from the south along the coast.

I think the next book may be Fat Wizard again, not a sequel per se, but an independent "series mystery."

hotter than it is here. I'm at 23 C and raining and it's way too hot.

Mind you, they're promising us it might get down to 12 C overnight tonight - which will be a pleasant change from trying to sleep in 17 C temperatures with no breeze.

The cinema is at least air conditioned. I'm picking a movie that is *not* a blockbuster, so I can have a half empty theatre!
