Thursday roadkill report

jhetleyOne dead Barbie Doll, face down in the Chase Road intersection. Did she fall, or was she pushed? Police would like to talk to Ken at the earliest convenience...
(Other than that, no new roadkill.)
Still doing the humid bit, not actually _hot_ as such, but biking turned sweaty fast. No evaporation.
Heard further from Nice Agent Lady on SIGNATURES. She says it's wonderful. But. There's always a but, isn't there? Anyway, she thinks I dragged the ending on too long. I'm sorry, I think that scene is golden, and don't _want_ to kill it off.
Also, she thinks some other points of non-PC language have to go. Potential sale killers. I think some of this is generation gap -- example, Fat Wizard's father was a WW-II veteran, European Theater. Calling a Mercedes a Kraut car, or a panzer, _would_ come naturally to him. Hell, I'm the same vintage, and I can remember veteran and Jewish groups picketing VW dealerships. That slave labor thing, you know.
But I'm a whore. I'll change just about anything for a sale.
Grand Opening celebration at the remodel job across the river this afternoon. The Guv'nor Hisself will show up to speak, housing the homeless and mentally ill looks good to the body politic with a reelection campaign in full swing.
