Several times now, we have seen concrete trucks heading up our street. Someone is pouring concrete in these conditions, probably at the medical center complex. I do not recommend.

Yeah, that seems...alarming, doesn't it?

Less alarming than unwise. I've been involved in a lot of winter construction, and several projects ended up with concrete problems from cold. Frost under slabs, honeycombed pours, surface damage . . .

All of these are things that an experienced contractor can avoid, if they aren't trying to cut costs.
