Still moving
We are here, for sufficiently-vague values of "here." Returned to the Great North Woods by way of Tahiti, it seemed, due to various weather-related indecencies forced upon air traffic control. This after Wife called the airline and checked flight status and I checked same on the internet, both finding flights as scheduled.
Have I mentioned that I hate airlines?
Anyway, this left us with a four-hour layover in northern Kentucky and a midnight arrival. And we found that the Sewer Project From Hell did _not_ repave our street whilst we were absent, in spite of a schedule that clearly stated that they'd start the day of our departure. So we got to wake up early to the sound of heavy equipment. Again.
Now I have to mow the lawn. It's been growing while my back was turned. Then, this evening, Younger Son's Girlfriend arrives. Oh joy, oh rapture!
And somewhere in there, I need to review those page proofs...

Near us, there's some major construction on one of the local highways that is still cheerfully announcing its completion date of Spring, 2005.

Though if you wanted quiet and introverted, why'd you have kids? *grins* They're bound to bring all sorts of upheaval to ones life.
