Well, I got a letter from the VA today -- yes, you too can have your records stolen. I'd wondered about that. I've never been sure just what the Big Computer had on me, being as they had a major fire in the Reserve Records Center a few years after I left Uncle Samuel's employment. That was back in the day when military records were paper, so they lost track of a few people.

In other news, I'm about 1/3 through making actual changes to SIGNATURES. Would like to get that done, have Wife read it and tell me how and where it stinks, and then send further revisions off to Nice Agent Lady for _her_ reaction before we leave for the Undisclosed Location and that nuisance wedding. Mazel tov!

Well, not _that_ individual. It's addressed "Dear Veteran." Also includes a sheet of FAQs.

I just posted it because I knew a number of other vets read this space.

Also, there's an asshole troll (redundant) over at alt.c who directed a post to you. Various people have jumped on him, and he's been informed several times that you no longer frequent the bar.
