Thursday roadkill report

One fresh snowshoe hare, up by my first crossing of the interstate.
Another non-roadkill sighting of our river eagle, this time cruising south in the area of the golf course, pursued by a smaller bird.
Needed a break from the proofreading (nearly nearly done, ready to hand over to Wife for her turn) so I cranked in another bike ride. Naturally the wind died down _after_ my ride, but the timing still worked out to the best. Caught a few sprinkles of rain on the way back, and arrived in our driveway to find that Neighbor has pulled out our common fence in preparation for replacement. If I'd been home, I would have helped...
:-)
And I think the story still works.
