jhetleyWell, another of our neighbors is at the renovation game -- he tore out the lath and plaster in the daughter's bedroom upstairs, and now has a crew ripping off shingles in preparation for a re-roof job. As Wife observed this morning, _she_ would have brought in the laundry first...
Down the street a bit, there's been a continuing interior job that has spilled over to replacing the siding. Neighbor on _other_ side got a new roof last year.
If this nonsense continues to spread through the neighborhood, we'll have the rattiest house on the block. I hear that's good for our resale value -- you can get a decent return on buying the worst property, fixing up, and selling high.
