Should I 'chuck it all?

(No, not talking about writing, or bicycling, or Jack Daniels, or any of the other vices I should give up...)

We have our annual woodchuck. Should I trap it (Havahart box trap, humane etc., to be released at the nature center) or should we let it take up residence under the rear of the house? It's cute, it eats dandelions, it's a rodent...

And we don't garden anymore. If it was aimed at our Lincoln peas and broccoli, there would be murder done.

jonsinger and I have a fondness for woodchucks (even though they wiped out the hami gua melons), so I'd say let the little rascal live. Errr, at least until the fall, then you might contemplate stew.
