The edge of the wild

Coyotes barking last night, a reminder that this isn't really an ideal neighborhood for outside pets. We also have eagles, great horned owls, fishers, foxes, raccoons, and porcupines. Plus skunks, although those don't generally lead to vet bills. Bears, moose, and deer are rare, but possible.
