That's the weather so far -- all swagger and brag, no performance. Windy, the weather radar _shows_ precip in this area, but none of it reaches the ground.

We need rain. I think I've told you this already. Brushfire season hit early this year. I don't _think_ we need nuisance snow mixed in with the rain, but that's just my personal prejudices showing.

Maybe finished chapter XXI on SIGNATURES this morning. Fat Wizard thinks he has found his prey, with the aid of Mrs. Red-tail Hawk. However, to his paranoid little brain, that old Mercedes looks rather like cheese on the trigger of a mousetrap.

(Later)

About an inch of slush on the ground, precip changed back to rain at last check. This would be your typical Maine in April storm. And we have a winter goldfinch hanging around the feeder, drab, as opposed to the yellow spring outfits of the weekend's goldfinches. Maybe the others got warning and flew back south.

If it were possible I would be glad to divert some east to you. Here in Cincinnati we are already beginning Tornado season..horizontal rains and 70mph winds. And flooded basements, did I mention flooded basements?
