Worked with a fat bumblebee while mowing the side yard. We respected each other's space, and she seemed to be concentrating on the purple ground-ivy blossoms. Most of that is below blade height, so I wasn't destroying her livelihood.

I'm finding myself less comfortable with mowing lawns in general as I get older and as agriculture seems in greater peril.
