Thursday foliage report

Leaves getting into late phase -- oaks going russet, yellows of birch and poplar and the Norway maples and tamaracks, ash trees and red maples bare. Defiant asters bloom

Roadkill limited to a couple of gray squirrels and one probable red squirrel.

Got passed by a couple of assholes who needed to blare their horns even though I was riding where I should. Bicycles on the road seem to be a personal insult. Did not die.
