Hazy crescent moon

Air temperature 17 F, wind east about 3 mph, sun rising. Supposed to cloud up in an hour or so, snow starting around noon. By which time we hope to be home from our peregrinations. Expected snow here about 4", which may call the snowblower back into service. Or not.

Timing is everything

Got back from our morning excursion. Snow started about fifteen minutes later. Roads looking dodgy, but we don't have anywhere else we need to go.
