Waning moon morning

Air temperature 25 F, wind northwest 20 mph gusting to 38, partly cloudy. Winter refuses to relax, snow forecast tomorrow. This is why our groundhogs refuse to come out their holes in early February.

Flock of 20 or 30 transit robins on my morning walk, working over a lawn. I can just hear the robin-ese grumbling, "Who thought coming here was a good idea?"
