January dies

Air temperature 21 F, wind near calm, weather radar shows snow overhead but none visible here. Temperature was 2 F when I went to bed last night, so we do have regime change occurring. Trash out, which constitutes half of my social obligations for the day. The other half will be bringing the emptied bin back into the garage at some future point.

Number-spoofing amusements -- two days now, we've gotten calls ID'd as coming from Tacoma School District. Which we haven't answered because we use ID to screen junk. But really, dude, that's the whole other side of the continent . . .
