Another Monday

Air temperature 18 F, wind near calm, cloudy. Weather radar says it's actually snowing out there. May try for a morning walk with no expectations of cat friends. Appointment after lunch.

Civic virtue weak

Just back from a slog along my usual route, and the usual percentage of people can't be bothered to keep the public sidewalk clear in front of their property. On the plus side, met up with an occasional cat, a tortoise-shell that recognized me and hopped down from the top of her sunny spot on a trash barrel to come out and exchange greetings.
