Winter arriveth

Air temperature 20 F, wind northwest about 7 mph, light snow falling. Total accumulation overnight seems to be about an inch and weather radar thinks we're pretty much done. Snowplows growling around. Happy solstice of your choice.

Maine aerobics

Snowplow berm moved, sidewalk down to the corner and up to the neighbor's driveway cleared. Didn't bother with our driveway because of the free salt we received before I intercepted the private crew and sent them down the road to the right address. Still snowing . . .

Two more passes of the city plow, but the leavings across our driveway are trivial. One pass of the shovel will probably suffice.
