Air temperature 28 F, wind south about 3 mph, clear sky with moon setting. Grass white across the park. Unable to spot comet yesterday evening. I think it is an elaborate hoax. Claims to the contrary will be dismissed with sad sighs.
Our small neighbors are rounder this morning. Not the full ping-pong ball puff that keeps them warm at -20 F in January, but definitely fluffed out more than usual.
