Pre-apocalypse

Air temperature 52 F, wind south about 5 mph, partly cloudy. No light show last night. Also, no sign of rain. Day will probably split between a morning walk and vegetating in front of sports on TV.

Wind, wind, yet more wind

We lost power for a couple of hours. Back on now. We discovered a few things about our generator backup. I was able to grill a cheese sandwich on the main cooktop on emergency power. And our APC battery backups don't like the generator. They wouldn't charge, so we eventually lost phone and internet. I suspect the voltage was lower than they wanted.
