Won't cooperate

Air temperature 54 F, wind near calm, the sun also rises. Supposed to get up into the low 80s F again today, which raises questions about my plan for a bike ride after lunch. Foraging morning.

Tuesday revised schedule report

No roadkill, not even slow squirrels. Floral report limited to a profusion of the brilliant purple asters, which do brighten up my rides.

A minor confusion on my metal bird count. KC-135 and C-17, in that order, lined up to take off when I came by the end of the runway. Saw the C-17 take off while I was pedaling along, then the KC-135. So either they swapped leads or there was a second tanker. No other metal birds noted.

After consultation with Wife, we swapped foraging and bike ride around. Got out on the bike, across town and back, did not die.

Well, the celestial dragon has taken a nibble out of the top of the moon. I hope nobody had any important equipment up there.
