Sunday, bloody Sunday

Air temperature 56 F, wind southwest about 3 mph, partly cloudy. Rain overnight, drying off now. Wind supposed to pick up before bicycle time. Of course.

Sunday boring report

No fresh or even aged roadkill to report. No metal birds, no new flowers. Only aviation at the airport was a family of crows.

Some of the upland trees are starting to show color, a branch here and there on the maples and ash trees. Sumac showing red, briars, some of the poison ivy.

Woolly bear caterpillars trying to migrate across the roads. Some of them even make it. They aren't equipped for mad dashes.

Temperature breached the 60 F mark and I got out on the bike, across town and over the hills and home. Did not die.
