Saturday roadkill report
Aug. 31st, 2024 11:18 amYes! Roadkill! One dead skunk on the other side of the road, about 12 miles into my ride. No stink noticed.
Milkweed pods starting to split open and go fluffy. Sow thistle also going fluffy, without the intervening pods. Oaks and apple trees distributing hazards over the road surface.
No interesting metal birds out at the airport, spooky or otherwise. Don't they realize that they have a duty to keep me supplied with blog fodder?
Got out on the bike, across town and back, coolish 65 F when I started out and 71 F now. Did not die.
