Wednesday goose report
Aug. 21st, 2024 03:33 pmSeveral dozen geese scattered among the tombstones out at the cemetery, no accurate count because gray geese and gray stones. They moved between my outbound and inbound passes, and may have split up because I didn't see as many goose-ish lumps the second time.
Roadkill limited to a red squirrel and *maybe* a second young mink out in the bog. This one was in the road rather than on the shoulder, and looked fresher than the first one would be by now.
Japanese knotweed blooming, yet another aggressive alien. Almost impossible to eliminate once it get established.
Not raining, not windy, not excessively hot. Got out on the bike, up to the country club and across to the road through the bog, thence home. Did not die.
