Friday midsommer report
Jul. 19th, 2024 11:18 amUsual suspects in the floral department, goldenrod and chicory and clovers and trefoil. And more and yet more of the damned purple loosestrife.
No roadkill to tally, except for the block of my normal route out-bound that was closed by a large excavator. No problem -- shift over one block and escape.
Quiet at the airport, maybe tied to that computer glitch. Although I wouldn't expect that to affect the Air Force/ANG traffic, which runs on a different system. Anyway, a single-engine maybe-Cessna seemed to be doing takeoffs and landings, making use of the lull.
Got out on the bike, cooler and drier air and little wind. Did not die.
