Less wet than maybe

Air temperature 71 F, wind south gusting to 17 mph, cloudy. Not much rain overnight and the roads are drying off. The major deluge is passing north of us. Do not think I'll try to sneak a bike ride past the weather gods.

Raining now. Not a flood, and we're well above the nearest streams and tidewater.

Wading through porridge

Just back from a walk and cooling down. And tee shirt hanging on the rack to dry. No cat friends, which only proves that cats have more sense than humans. And the water district is digging up the intersection just down the block from our old house, looks like fairly major surgery.

Speaking of the old house, new owners have finally gotten that patch of roof re-shingled. There are still other major repairs needed in the neighborhood, from storms last winter . . .
