Saturday floral report
Jun. 29th, 2024 11:27 amCottonwoods spreading their fluff, more mullein, swamp-candles in the bog, maybe butter-and-eggs, rabbit's-foot clover, masses of the white sweet clover. Purple loosestrife, dammit.
Roadkill limited to a flattened object that may have been a muskrat -- thought I saw a trace of the signature tail. Not-roadkill, mockingbird singing from one end of a parking lot and another mockingbird singing from the other end. Thus far and no further!
Windy, got out on the bike upriver and over to the road through the bog and back. Did not die.
