Sunday swarm report
Jun. 2nd, 2024 01:08 pmNew flowers limited to one black locust tree blooming and one orange hawkweed among a sea of yellow.
No roadkill except for a busy intersection blocked for several light changes by a caravan of bikers numbering over a hundred. Looked to be Shriners. Loud and smelly -- no catalytic converters on those things.
Multiple mockingbirds out at the airport, declaiming territory from at least three directions. Also, two C-130s parked in the visitors' lot.
Got out on the bike after air temperature topped 60 F, discarded my fantasy of a longer ride and just did across town and back. Did not die.
