Tuesday floral report

First Canada mayflower blooms seen, chokecherry, and I'm pretty sure I saw a white moccasin-flower back in the shade among the ferns. More lilac, more bush honeysuckle, probable hobble-bush, and some lupines are starting to show color at the bottom of their spikes.

No roadkill. No geese at the cemetery pond. No redwing blackbirds yammering. Dull out there.

Sudden warmth, 80 F when I got out on the bike, wind gusting over 20 mph, upriver and across and back through the bog. Did not die.
