Unlike about 180,000 of our fellow Maine citizens, we seem to have never lost power. Air temperature 20 F, wind northwest gusting over 30 mph, mostly cloudy. We have very little ice on the trees and wires. I have a date with the snowblower after coffee and internet. Snowplows have been out and about.

No accurate idea of how much we got in official measurement. Snowblower rode over some of it due to ice at the bottom, but we have exposed all of the driveway to the healing rays of the sun. And if the city wants sidewalks, they can plow the damn things.

As of the evening news, there are still over 100,000 customers without power in southern and coastal Maine. One weather site reported 3/4" ice accumulation. Locations back in the hills got up to 24" of snow. Spring?
