One of the prime take-aways from the PBS "Finding Your Roots" series is that a lot of our ancestors had horrible lives. Blacks, European Jews, famine Irish, Armenians . . .

And the anti-immigrant faction would tell you that fleeing horrible lives isn't sufficient reason to try to come here.

Met up with Ms. Sasha on my afternoon walk. We have sun, and I guess the wind died back enough to not ruffle her sacred fur the wrong way. So we got caught up in scritching. I asked her about Louie, but she offered no information.
