The local weather

Air temperature 25 F, wind near calm, partly cloudy. Supposed to cloud up this afternoon, going to showers and then rain overnight, temperatures in the 40s F. Back to bare ground again. Should be able to get walk in.

Cardinal pair under the sunflower feeder earlier. Gone now. Males are starting to sing territory.

Jumping the season

Got chupped at by a mockingbird on my morning walk, starting to get defensive. And the cardinals are calling. Still tree crews working the neighborhood, still blue tarps on some roofs awaiting patches. No cat friends seen.
