Icy roads ahead

Air temperature 30 F, wind north about 5 mph, cloudy. Snow turned to freezing rain overnight, mess ensued. One plow pass on our street, blades down but no sand or salt. We don't need to venture forth.

Just slogging along

We got out and scraped the driveway down to wet asphalt. Also the plow berm. Now the plows can come around again, but at least the shit under their leavings won't be frozen down. And the sun can work on our surfaces. Sidewalk has not been cleared, and may not be today.
