The gathering storm

Air temperature 34 F, wind northeast about 6 mph, overcast with winter storm warning. Snow supposed to start this afternoon and last into tomorrow, maybe 6" total here and turning to rain along the coast. Remedial winter driver's education scheduled throughout the state. We may trim some maple branches before it hits.

We have about 100 gulls in the park across the street. They move inland when bad weather pends. Probably ring-bills.
